Join Team Zebra!

The Hong Kong Lacrosse Open 2020 will be held on 10 April – 13 April 2020 at Stanley Ho Sports Centre. There will be competitive games within the four days, and officials across the world are cordially invited to come to Hong Kong.

All games will follow World Lacrosse Field Lacrosse rules in general. Hong Kong Lacrosse Association will also take this chance to grow our local officials by working together with overseas officials, through officiating or shadowing on field.
 

• Roles Required 

• Referees: to officiate men’s games and train local referees (via on-field shadowing)
• Umpires: to officiate women’s games and train local umpires (via on-field shadowing)
• Experienced referees / umpires may also be invited to take role as assessor, to train and assess local officials.
 

• Criteria required 

• National Lacrosse Official (Referee / Umpire) rating in own country
• International Lacrosse officiating experience (e.g. FIL/ APLU / ELF events) in the last 3 years
 

• Uniform required

• Black-and-white vertically stripped short sleeved shirt
• Black shorts
• Black hat
• Solid black shoes
• Short black socks

Umpire

• Black-and-white vertically stripped short sleeved shirt

• Work permit

You are required to apply for a work permit to avoid legal liabilities while officiating games during the event. Hong Kong Lacrosse Association will be the sponsor company your application. Application forms and procedures will be announced after shortlist officials have been selected.
 

• What Hong Kong Lacrosse Association provides?

• Allowance for game days ($1500HKD per day)
• Meals at game fields, order in advance is required
• Accommodation will be provided to officials
