Every year, The Lacrosse Open held in April is a major event in the Hong Kong lacrosse community. There are a lot of traditional strong teams across Asia taking part in this tournament. It will be a testing stage for our representative teams to improve their condition and preparation for the upcoming World Championship.

During the first Hong Kong Lacrosse Open in 2002, Team Japan won the men's title. The Hong Kong men's team won the championships in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 by beating China, Australia, Japan and other strong teams. It is evident that our representative teams are capable of winning against strong Asian teams.

Local women's teams also won the championships in 2015, 2017 and 2018, which greatly improved their confidence for upcoming tournaments.

Furthermore, each year, we will host a social dinner to thank the participants. At the dinner, players can gather together to share the current development of each club and communicate with each other!
