The Keio lacrosse team brought the sport of lacrosse into Japan 30 years ago. Having ‘Pioneers Pride’ as our team identity, we have pride in being a forerunner and will always continue pursuing the still unseen fascination and value that is this sport. In 2017, the Keio women’s lacrosse team won the Japan Lacrosse National Championship title, achieving to be in the top of Japan. The slogan for the team this year is ‘Lead Off’. As a pioneer of lacrosse in Japan, we intend to direct and be the first to challenge new things. Not being afraid to always be in the forefront is the meaning behind this slogan.
We will work hard to achieve the National Championship title again this year without clinging onto our past glory.

我們慶應棍網球部在30年前，首次把棍網球運動帶到了日本。 “Pioneer’s Pride（先驅者的尊嚴）”是我們的理念。作為先驅者，我們時刻牢記著這份自豪，不停追求著棍網球新的魅力和價值，推動該運動的發展。在2017年的全日本棍網球選手大賽上，我們一嚐夙願，拿到了日本第一。今年的口號是“Lead Off（領頭羊）”。包含了作為先驅者，要時刻準備打頭陣的意願。我們不能沉浸在過去的輝煌中，今年也要從零開始朝向日本第一，並在亞洲取得更好成績的目標全力奮進。
